“Balance of Life” reflects the Bethany Village commitment to help residents sustain wellness by balancing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives.
The work is a joyous celebration of life’s fullness, attained by leading balanced lives in relationship with others. The graceful interactions of the male and female figures represent members of the community supporting each other as they are nurtured by the faithful caring of Bethany Village. The multi-colored glass and stainless steel sphere illustrate the beauty and diversity of the community, as well as the multiple dimensions of life to be held in balance.
