Each cremation urn, created by Stephen Canneto, embodies the powerful message of his work and highly acclaimed talent.

Nannette Maciejunes, Director of the Columbus Museum of Art has said, "Canneto is by far Columbus' best known public artist. Transforming lives…his work often enjoyable and sometimes openly provocative…challenges citizens to explore issues of public life.

His best known and most widely acclaimed public work remains the monumental NavStar, commissioned as part of the 1992 International Horticulture Exposition, Ameriflora. The acknowledgement of nature in his work is always present, hovering just below the surface of his lyrical abstract forms."

"My joy as a public artist is in the creation of healing, nurturing spaces… my work is a search for the human spirit and how we can humanize the spaces in our lives.
